U=U Reaches Kuwaiti Nationals Living with HIV In Kuwait

The U=U message is reaching the small population of people living with HIV in Kuwait. The country reported 81% of people with HIV are aware of their status; of those, 80% are on antiretroviral therapy (ART); and 90% of those on ART are undetectable. 365 Kuwait nationals are receiving antiretroviral therapy with an undetectable viral load, which means according to the Ministry of Health “they cannot pass the virus on through unprotected sex.”
