LILA Launches the First U=U Campaign in Italy

Today at the European AIDS Conference, LILA launched “We Can” the first nationwide U=U campaign in Italy. “The goal of ‘We Can’ is to introduce the extraordinary effects of ART to keep the viral load below the level of detection which improves the health and quality of life of people with HIV and prevents HIV transmission to others. This information is a powerful weapon to end the discrimination and social stigma faced by people with HIV which also discourages people from getting tested. Shown in a video and in a series of images,  ‘We Can’ aims to clearly explain this ‘revolution’ to a wider audience through media (online, print, radio), social media and leaflets (flyers, brochures, posters, posters) that will be distributed by LILA during the many initiatives organized throughout the region.”
