A statement, released by the Prevention Access Campaign, says: ‘People living with HIV on [antiretroviral therapy] with an undetectable viral load in their blood have a negligible risk of sexual transmission of HIV.’ (Previously, official guidelines have maintained that HIV treatment simply minimised the risk of transmission.)”
